Thomas Glassford is a conceptual artist who produces primarily sculpture, installation, painting and site-specific work. Based in Mexico City, he exhibits widely and most recently participated in InSite_05. A major show of his new work is scheduled in January 2006 at the MUCA Museum, Mexico City. He is the editor of this issue's special section on The Border.

Art historian and critic Amy V. Grimm is Curator at the El Paso Museum of Art. She is also President of the Border Museum Association.

Artist Max Kazemzadeh is Assistant Professor and founder of the Electronic Media Art program at the University of North Texas in Denton. He is presently working on an international new media symposium and exhibition called Texelectronica, which will be held in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2006.

Ito Romo's first novel, El Puente/The Bridge, was published in 2001. Also a painter, Romo has exhibited both nationally and internationally. He teaches English at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio and is completing a PhD in Creative Writing at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Noah Simblist, Assistant Professor of Art at Southern Methodist University, is an artist and writer living in Dallas.

Charissa N. Terranova is Assistant Professor of Art History at Southern Methodist University and an art critic at the Dallas Observer. She is currently working on two manuscripts on the subject of le grand ensemble, a type of postwar French housing proposed by Le Corbusier.
